In a previous video I shared some thoughts about cultivating environments in which people can thrive at work.
This video builds on this, with reference to how Gallup measures thriving, and a challenge to all leaders to consider how you can help people to thrive.
Over recent weeks I have worked with people struggling to cope with the pressures of work on a day to day basis, and leaders who want people to be able to thrive, but are grappling with how to find time to work on it.
One tip that I would share, that I've started using on projects and programmes, is to ask colleagues -
'How can we help each other to be at our best working together?'
I've found that this had opened up some fascinating conversations, and has helped us to thrive together, with clear effect on results.
