Adapting

As technology continues to develop at an accelerated pace, tasks that were once thought to be reserved for humans are increasingly being carried out by machines. Globalization, demographic, and geopolitical transformations are having a significant impact on the work landscape.
Employee expectations are changing, and we need to define success much more broadly — considering collaboration, learning, wellbeing and sustainability. All this needs to be done with flexibility in when, where, and how people work.
The organisational paradigms of the 20th century will not lead to success as we navigate our way through the 21st century. Many of the challenges that we face do not have clearly defined solutions or end points. We have to respond to complex problems that change as we attempt to address them.
Increasingly, digital and cognitive capabilities, social and emotional skills, adaptability and resilience will be critical to success.
In all the uncertainty surrounding the future, one thing is clear: change will be constant within the workplace. And those who have the capability to adapt will be the ones who thrive.
Personal Adaptability
We help people to understand their own adaptability, using the AQ instrument. We provide coaching that supports them to thrive, through insight and skills that builds their ability to respond to change.
Resilient Teams
We work with teams at all levels, helping them to develop ways of working so that they are more adaptable and resilient. This will lead to improved well-being and enhanced performance.
Adaptive Organisations
We support organisations to understand what is needed to nurture an adaptable culture and create these conditions so that they can respond effectively to disruption, adapt and thrive despite uncertainty.
In September 2021 he was a member of the first global cohort to start the journey towards the Level 2 Professional AQai Certification, which he successfully completed in December 2021.
AQ, or Adaptability Quotient, is a holistic measure of workplace adaptability. It measures the abilities, characteristics, and environmental factors that impact the successful behaviours and actions of people, teams and organisations to effectively respond to uncertainty, new information or changed circumstances.
The higher your AQ, the more likely you will be able to recover from setbacks, find alternative solutions to problems and embrace change. Using the assessment, you can get insight into your own adaptability skills and identify steps to improve your personal adaptability.
AQai also provides powerful insights about the environment in teams and across the organisation, which can be used to design interventions aimed at developing collective adaptability.
