In this, the 3rd in my video series, I explore thriving as a focus for leadership.

I believe that helping people to thrive goes way beyond well-being initiatives - it is about leaders helping people to have a 'good job', in which they use their strengths, feel valued, make a contribution and are able to develop.

I know that many leaders and managers are struggling at work. However, if you support people around you to thrive more, then this will help you feel better, and in turn you will thrive more.

Small interventions will make a difference...

  • Asking people what parts of their job they enjoy most, and helping them to do more of this
  • Working with people to explore and use their strengths
  • Ensure people have regular 121 check-ins that focus on how you as a leader can support them more
  • Recognise accomplishments

What are you doing to help your team to thrive and to be at their best?
