In much of my work, whether on programmes or during coaching, I hear people talking more and more about the need to adapt. I have noticed a shift towards this, when in the past we have talked a lot in organisations about change management. Maybe we have begun to realise that there is so much about change that is out of our control - but what we can do something about is our response to change.

Adaptability is one of the core themes of flockofcats. Without doubt, being adaptable is crucial during a period of rapid andunpredictable disruption and turbulence. I hope you agree - and if you don't please shout out, as I'd love to understand your perspective.

If adaptability is important - what is it, and how do we get better at it? As some of you will know, I have been involved over the past couple of years or so with Ross Thornley, MABP, Mike Raven, Scott Rencher and the team at AQai - Adaptability Assessments & Coaching, who have developed the AQai adaptability
assessment, which helps us to understand, measure and develop adaptability at individual, team and organisational levels.

In this video, I share a brief overview of the tool and discuss its use. I hope you find it interesting, and if you would like to know more, just get in touch.
