I am catching up with myself this morning, after facilitating all last week, working with Cohort 4 of the Harsco Environmental HE Connect programme at Roffey Park Institute.

It was a great week, with some of the highlights being -

  • Working with a diverse global group (12 nationalities in a group of 15) who arrived knowing very little about each other, but left with deep connections.
  • The energy and commitment of the group to work with us and one another to challenge their thinking and approach to leadership, and to take their learning back to their own teams and sites.
  • Facilitating again with Andrew Needham, who is always fun to work with, and provided excellent links back to the reality of the organisational context.
  • The ongoing support of the HE SLT, in particular Karen Renwick who is committed to the development of leaders across the organisation.
  • Enjoying the outstanding service, facilities and food at Roffey Park. Working at a venue so focused on providing an environment for learning makes a real difference.
  • Continuing to stretch myself with my mind maps of the module - in particular adding in more illustrations in order to personalise them for each cohort. I will not try to explain some of the pictures...

Looking forward to Module 2 in July!
